Nedap Retail goes RFID team

Item level RFID technology holds the promise of truly enabling a new era in retailing. Retailers believe that it is not the question if item level RFID will happen in retail, but when this will happen. To start pilot projects and to be fully prepared for the future, Nedap Retail has created a new RFID team to work on the development of unique applications using item level RFID. Initially, the RFID team will focus on applications in fashion and sports. They are expected to take the lead in the adoption process.
